A Gateway Technical College graduate and state-licensed HVAC Qualifier with 26 years in the trade—including 4 years serving Keystone customers—Dan’s deep expertise and dedication to training the next generation ensure our Racine and Kenosha homeowners receive expert service every time.

What is your favorite part about working at Keystone Heating & AC?
"The history of Keystone being in the community for over 100 years, working with our team, and training our apprentices."

What made you decide to get into the HVAC trade originally?
"A friend of the family recommended it; I knew I needed to work with my hands."

What’s your favorite type of HVAC equipment or project to work on?
"Hydronic and steam boilers, the bigger the better!"

What is one piece of advice you always give to homeowners?
"Don’t try to fix it yourself. So many people buy parts online because that is what the internet said the problem would be; now they have spent more money and time than if a professional would have just looked at it.  And working with gas and electricity is not worth potentially making someone sick or dying."

What do you like best about serving homeowners in Racine and Kenosha counties?
"Oftentimes you end up in the homes or businesses of people you recognize—maybe went to school with them or worked with your parents. I like to make that connection with people right away."

Where are you from originally?
"I’m born and raised in Racine! I went to Racine Lutheran High School before attending Gateway for my HVAC training. Serving my hometown community means a lot to me."

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
"Camping. And family—I’m always helping someone!"
